Being shouted & called Scrounger in the street when visibly disabled, despite fraud accounting for 1% of the budget, is my reality lol
This article perfectly puts into words how terrifying being on disability benefits actually is in Tory Britain
when I was on benefits (the PIP process was too draining & exhausting I had to give up) I was so terrified of telling even my closest friends that I was on benefits????
I tried to go swimming once/twice a week for 20 or so mins to build up stamina, I was TERRIFIED I’d get reported for fraud, for simply trying to make my body a bit better
There’s this wild concept that as soon as you’re classed as unfit for work you HAVE to be in bed at all times??? And if you’re not??? If you so happened to see some friends, laugh, go to the shops, exercise????? BENEFITS SCROUNGER
they don’t see the painful hours/days/even weeks some may stay in bed for after. They just see the laugh or unaided walk. These activities are done for survival or keeping morale up so we don’t want to die lol, LET US LIVE
