I've spent a long time wondering exactly why Tarantino makes revenge fantasies about demographics he's not part of.
Reading Uma's story and his culpability in her pain makes me angrier that he appropriates in such staggering ways.

I think it's utterly necessary that everyone read the piece. Thurman's anger & eloquence shines through, although Maureen Dowd remains the completely wrong choice to cover such a story. Her style & focus is all out of whack, but it doesn't diminish Thurman's story.
