"I don't want politics in comics" is basically, "I don't want to have to evaluate anything and live in a delusion that I'm always right and okay."
And I guarantee the people pretending comics were once not political are the same gatekeeping fucks who scream other people can't be real fans because of some bullshit reason.

So this is a lot, I apologize. But this is the story of how I met one of my teenhood icons while I was still a teenager. But there's a bit of lead up.
When I was sixteen, I discovered Neil Gaiman's Sandman series. It was about three years into it's run. And like the works of Phil Foglio and Don Rosa, it was unlike anything I'd ever seen. I was hooked instantly.

The first issue for me have been: I did not know my camera well and what it can do.
Almost any camera can do at least a nice astro landscape.
With the right settings, you could even capture the milky way with a high-end smartphone.

The great awakening is not just about an influx of knowledge, its about us doing something? Does anyone know what that something is? When you are handed the truth after so many decades of being lied to, what do you think your should do? Sit back and wait for the president? Why?
Why do we all expect the president to be our savior?Do we expect him to fix all that is wrong in our communities?The great awakening is not about the president or Q fixing anything. Its about us fixing things. Once we are awake, we are to then take action. Voting is a small part!

Food hubs. Where to start.

The whole point of local food is supposed to be "shorten the supply chain." Food hubs are supposed to facilitate that.

What they *actually* do is just add another layer of middleman.
There's an inevitable cycle with food hubs (touched on in passing in the article but never really examined).

1. Sell food to niche bougie outlets

2. Saturate those niche outlets, bc they're niche
3. Realize that if you want to live & participate in the world of modern food, you gotta pull on the big kid pants & sell to big distributors like Sysco & Aramark

4. Congrats now you're just another layer of middleman, & kind of an unnecessary one at that
