6/ How would they get the attention away from Hillary and put Trump back on the defensive? Create a DNC “hack” and make Trump Russia’s partner in a coordinated attack to undermine America’s choice. Here’s where the changing of Papadopoulos’ claim is key.
7/ They used Crowdstrike to create the “Russian hack” evidence. That set the first pillar but for the plan to work they also needed to tie the hack to Team Trump in some way. Here’s where the Aussie Diplomat comes into play. He claims Papadopoulos said Russians hacked the DNC.
8/ Once the Aussie contacts the US IC with his claim about Papadopoulos the FBI has what it needs to open the counterintelligence investigation. A crime by a foriegn power in coordination with a US entity, the Trump campaign. Trump Russia is born.
9/ If the FBI was actually interested in investigating they would have known Papadopoulos actual claim undercut Comey’s press conference. It showed Hillary was guilty NOT Trump! If it was to be believed...

11/ To be clear I am speculating that the Hillary campaign leaked the DNC emails. I know. Crazy. But actually brilliant. Didn’t you always wonder why even though they were juicy they never really made any difference? It was a calculated play. What did she get?
