/ Welcome to Thursday in the independent republic of Brexitlandia
/ The Cabinet met yesterday and plans to meet today to discuss Their end goals from Brexit a mere 18 months after the referendum 😱😱🤤
/ Before we analyse their options, it is worth noting that the sound you can hear more regularly is not tinnitus but the high pitched squealing of the ultra Brexiters 🦁=🐭
/ There is brave and noble @Nigel_Farage describing the UK as Vichy Britain which is funny cos this what he voted for and he is the one who recently went to a far right rally in Germany 🤥🤥🤥
/ The DUP have taken to shouting "no surrender" thereby making the point that mutual cooperation through a peace project is on balance the better way forward 👊
/ @NickJTimothy is now perpetuating Alt Reich arguments which explains why he used the citizen of nowhere phrase unless of course he is being "misunderstood" 🤔
/ the beacon of logic @NadineDorries says the rich elite are trying to stop Brexit thereby saying @BorisJohnson and @Jacob_Rees_Mogg are not rich or elite 😂😂😂
/ @Jacob_Rees_Mogg is of course doing the Brexit charge because the people want cheap clothes and food and it is not about him at all thelondoneconomic.com/news/jacob-ree…
/ But all of that is just noise attempting to distract the people from what Brexit means for them. Nice try Brexiters 🖕
/ The Cabinet met yesterday to discuss Northern Ireland and Immigration
/ On Northern Ireland the Great Capitulatory Fudge agreed in December has following SM
and CU rules as a fallback unless the Cabinet can magically invent new technology. Which they cannot because they are not hiring engineers
/ Also they have no other solutions as confirmed by the Maybot
/ Which means you have to take advice from the local police quite seriously unless of course you are the Maybot and the speech from two days ago about consensus politics was just hot air amp.theguardian.com/uk-news/2018/f…
/ On immigration the white paper has been pushed back til the Autumn so that Maybot will continue to take the position that all EU citizens are to blame for EVERYTHING including her decision to trigger article 50 👊
/ Today the Cabinet will discuss the future relationship it wants with the EU. The better question is what wil the EU offer that we can live with
/ In part it comes down to how closely the U.K. wants to align with the EU or the US. If the US then the Maybot could not even be bothered to lie about the future of the NHS
/ Which would be quite some outcome given the EU promised the U.K. the NHS was to be ringfenced when the EU was trying to negotiate its now failed deal with the US 👏👏👏trade.ec.europa.eu/doclib/docs/20…
/ But then this is no surprise that the NHS may be fair game when the hit on the public finances due to Brexit is going to be quite a lot of pounds 💷💷💷💷theguardian.com/politics/2018/…
/ Maybe the Cabinet will take into account the recent economic work @DExEUgov prepared. Now remember this work assumed we would have no hard border (which quite an assumption outside the SM and CU) and we would get some new trade deals.
/ That economic work concludes no deal is better than a bad deal unless you live in the U.K.🇬🇧
/ And no deal is frankly catastrophic if you live in certain parts of the UK ⚰️
/ One has to conclude that Global Britain will be exporting all the car manufacturers and their jobs as part of the strategy to....wait you mean.... oh 😱😱😱
/ But the good news does not stop there. The non-tariff barriers that come from leaving the SM mean things will get more expensive
/ I mean imagine having to pay more for food, clothes and energy when Brexit was supposedly about improving our situation
/ Now imagine if all that could be avoided for the princely sum of 30p each a day.....
/ add in 30p a day it would also mean the U.K. controls its borders, has a say in new laws, benefits from frictionless trade with the EU, benefits from 🌍trade, protects the GFA, protects the NHS from a sell off, has opt outs, has a veto on treaty change & new EU member states
/ Sounds amazing. Will the Cabinet go for it? 🦄🦄🦄
