To be fair, Monads can route nonlinearly, and dynamically too. They’re still monadic w/o, and pipes nonlinearize.

Bullshit was a bit much. Pure math is talking bout pure math things. It’s their language.

“Well defined interfaces, known good state” is not just theirs to enjoy.

To maintain consistency of governance in existing institutions, the British system uses Shadow Secretaries. Brexit requires *new* institutions, because the world of 2018 isn't the same world from before the EU.

So, what I would say is: Pause Brexit. Build Shadow Institutions.
They may be new, they may be a transformation of the old, this may or may not be possible. But the whole magic of the Shadow model isn't just that there are competent people, but that outsiders know who they are, what they'd be dealing with, what sort of deal they can rely on.
You want a deal, build working systems that can make a deal. Build Shadow Institutions that are credible internally, and externally, on the model of Shadow Secretaries. Treat the Article 50 trigger as policy that looked better on paper and didn't work in practice. That happens!

I know it's a little presumptuous for an American to comment on Brexit, but hear me out.

One of the things I've really admired about British political architecture has been the concept of Shadow Secretaries. At any moment, there are certainly going to be parties not in power.
But political winds may change, new coalitions may form, and who is in charge of what may change. That new talent is *ready* for this eventuality, already trained and known and competent to the degree one can be without actually having the job -- that's pretty cool!
Of course, we have some of that in America -- ranking members from each party on each committee in our legislature -- but Shadow Secretaries deal directly with executing the burdens of statecraft. And they are burdens. Policy is *hard*, execution doubly so.

First, the type of edit here claimed is not rare at all. I’ve generally heard it referred to as, well, “frame f***ing”. Happens to television shows quite a bit in syndication — scenes aren’t removed, but they’re sped up just enough to add an ad or two.
I say this because while the tech *exists* to do deep fakery, slicing frames here and there is a pretty common and well understood mechanism. It’s like an audio mixing app making the vocals louder (memories of Howard Dean).

I've never written 50k words in 30 days, for #NaNoWriMo or otherwise, but I've written two 95k+ novels. Does that qualify me to offer some opinions?

JUST KIDDING; I'm a man on the internet, so _of course_ I'm going to share my opinions, whether you want to hear them or not…
One common way to categorise writers is those who plan/outline first (planners), and those who just wing it (pantsers). I'm a planner, so really I'd say: hey, plan a lot before you start. But it's already 1st November, so I'm a bit late with that advice.
That said, I do highly recommend outlining. Broad strokes first, then iteratively refine until you're sick of doing so. I usually go down to the granularity of groups of a few scenes, and sometimes further. I also recommend reading about the three-act structure.

A question I hear a lot: “Why don’t other code bootcamps just teach more computer science fundamentals?”

Not enough time. It’s the business model. People will only pay so much out of pocket, and you need to rotate through a lot of those in one building.
Why don’t they just adopt Lambda School’s business model?

Because it’s really freaking hard to do, requires financing, cannibalizes most upfront revenue, and you have to own the full stack: financing, the school, and outcomes.
Most educators don’t want to deal with/think about financing, cashflow, and risk management.

Finance people certainly don’t want to start a school.

And to do it really well you have to be willing to handle the full stack - admissions, the school, placement, and finance

The CA Democrats' reaction to their #wildfires crisis is very telling.

Many voters will #WalkAway.
(2) It's very simple to understand WHY California's #wildfires have worsened in the last 10 years or so.

Natural & plantation forests have been badly mismanaged. (Something we can change.)

Naturally occurring climate change is also a factor. (Something we can't change,)
(3) Democrats want you to ignore the factors we CAN change, such as the mismanagement of forests, & to focus on the factor we CAN'T change: The sun driving the cycle of warming & cooling that's gone on since the planet formed.

Start easy: the blunt awkwardness/cringe of 'Blurryface' is the point of taking the piss out of Tyler. I stand by my light 9/10.
2. I don't hate Nickelback's 'Dark Horse' - it's easily a record for them at their most tasteless, but the frat-bro swagger of it helps some of their better hooks.
3. 'Fireflies' by Owl City is a genuinely terrific song that captures precocious, starry-eyed wonderment better than few others in the 2000s.

It is SPECTACULARLY lame, but that's why it works.

We've given good reasons. Hundreds of times. For months. And you Q-tards KEEP. FUCKING. COMING. We've gone over this too many times to repeat, but again, Q is not giving anyone any fresh information. The Q phenomena is whipping people into a frenzy of fucking idiocy.
At one point, Q predicted nationwide ANTIFA uprisings, Trump deploying the Marines in a military crackdown, Clinton's own secret service detail arresting her, and so much other utterly retarded SHIT. Anything that he gets wrong gets dropped right the fuck down the memory hole.
