For all my fellow ecom warriors, here's how I doubled my conversion rate (and therefore sales) basically overnight.

~ Thread ~
Up until a few days ago, my conversion rate was actually UNDER 1%. That's piss poor. So of course, I had to fix it.

Some background:

My store had only 2 apps...
> Oberlo (needed for order fulfillment)
> OptinMonster (to collect emails)

That's it.
No urgency, scarcity, social proof, etc. But, I'm no ecom expert. I had some ideas about how to increase my conversion rate, but nothing concrete.

So I spent about an hour on YouTube watching videos about how to increase your conversion rate!
Shocker, everything I needed to know was on YouTube!

(Big lesson in there)

So I took what I learned in that hour and I implemented in on my store.

What exactly did I do?
First, I left everything alone aside from my two top-selling products. They're responsible for almost exactly 2/3 of my sales. So I focused my efforts there.

Aka, focused on what moves the needle.
So I took my two top-selling products and completely overhauled the product pages. Previously I had short, three-four sentence descriptions. I took those and added a features/benefits section of bullet points kind of like a lot of products do on Amazon.
(Side note: apply what you know is working for other businesses to yours)

The key to this though, is that the bullet points addressed the top objections this market has. You don't want people leaving just because they don't whether or not your product will fit them, for example.
Knowing your market is THE single most important part of any online biz.

Most ignore this. Most also fail. Coincidence? Methinks not.

Anyways... once I had that taken care of, it was time to take a look at the other more tactical aspects.
Things like urgency/scarcity and social proof, namely.

So I installed
> Hurrify
> Ali Reviews

Hurrify is an incredible app. If you don't have it on your store, you're just burning money for no reason. Same with Ali Reviews.
Reviews are key because as a no-name dropshipping store you have absolutely no credibility. People don't know you. Or trust you. And for good reason.

It's your job to MAKE them trust you and build credibility and authority.
Reviews do this through social proof, and obviously are very effective at doing so. When you look at a new product on Amazon, where's the first place you go after reading the description?

The reviews motherfucker.

Use that to your advantage.
That's pretty much it.

Literally giving away incredibly profitable information for 100% free. Most won't do anything with it, but for the few action-takers that do, let me know how it goes.
