Ok, I'm making a #worryplanner, and you can have one, too.
Follow the thread for instructions. Don't worry about getting it right or if it's useful. You got enough to worry about. Ok let's go.
I drew you some to start with. You can print them out on A4. There you go. Or draw your own. All fine. #worryplanner
Cut them out, don't bother making it neat. Cut round the arms so they can hang on to things. You'll see how in a sec.
NO THIS ONE ISN'T ON THE SHEET but do not worry about it, the others are FINE.
#worryplanner
Now write worries on them. Okay. Now these little beasts are reminding you of why you're so tired. Cool. If there isn't one that suits your worry, apologies. Maybe you can just pick one at random and tell it off for being inadequate to the task.
#worryplanner
RIGHT! Now put up a sheet of paper for them to hang out on and stare at you. SEE? THEY ARE REAL WORRIES!
This paper is too big for my pinboard. I refuse to care about that. It's fine.
Now write on a practical thing to do about each worry. Something manageable.
#worryplanner
Doesn't need to be a solution. Just something to do about it. Imagine the worry is getting annoyed about it. Or reassured. Whatever makes you feel better. They can take it. They're made of paper. #worryplanner
Once you done the one manageable thing, cross it out. Give yourself some stars if you like. Then look the worry in the eye and say something passive aggressive, or reassuring, like: "Ah, I'm really looking forward to hanging out with my friends in the new place" #worryplanner
If it's something scary, pretend you're excited about it, you probably won't believe it but paper beasts are quite gullible. #worryplanner
So, no one can actually read the worry, only your plans. It's none of their business anyway. BUT if you'd rather not have worries on the wall, you can stick them in a journal instead, like this. Nice and private. Here's one in my bullet journal. Cosy. #worryplanner
So... yeah. Repeat. Cross out, and next time you worry, write a new manageable thing to do. Hopefully your planner will fill with scrawls and stars and YOU CAN SEE YOU ARE DEALING WTH STUFF and YEAH THERE ARE REASONS WHY YOU FEEL WORRIED. #worryplanner
So... at some point, hopefully, you'll find that you stopped worrying about something, or you dealt with the thing. COOL! For example, I am now feeling more organised actually. So... give the thing a new job. As a bookmark perhaps. Or keep it in a jar as a trophy. #Worryplanner
THAT'S ALL
Ok I'm off to have a cup of tea, be excellent to each other xx
#worryplanner
Ah also if this helps you and you feel like it, buy me a coffee, but no worries. ko-fi.com/vivschwarz
