1) You can't understand . . .

until you understand that this is a part of Pakistani culture. Pakistan is one giant Rotherham, except boys are the victims since females are kept from the public square.

2) Of course not everyone in an ethnic group shares the same personality, but if enough people share a personality type or trait beyond a certain threshold, it tilts the culture in that direction.

3) There are court documents from ancient Greece suggesting they had this same nonchalant attitude.

That changed.

You couldn't re-institute this cultural practice among Euros - likely because European psychology has changed over past few thousand years.

4) It's tragic that people in parts of the world are living in these conditions, but importing them to our societies and reproducing this behavior here is not the answer.

It just turns one tragedy into two.

5) The only way to actually help people in these societies is to help their governments put the population through the same selection pressures that made Euros less like this

(i.e. imprison the personality types that you don't want to reproduce)

To expand on this: the fact that Europeans are different is not because we "told" people to change. It required evolution.

So it's doubtful that "telling" British Pakistanis to change their culture, or assimilate, will be effective.

Evolutionary mismatch.
