Brittany Kaiser (CA LLC) says she was given a database by UKIP.
UKIP are not cooperating with the ICO.
Where did UKIP get the database from?
Was it the WESS/METIS database?
How was that data acquired?
Some thoughts.
Andrew Whitehead was the Director & described in the Zelo Street blogs as a software architect and developer.
He & Matthew Elliot was a shareholder with 2 other companies.
2013 :-All shares were all transferred to Andrew Whitehead
Thomas Borwick and Matthew Elliot of Vote Leave
Thomas Borwick of Kanto that worked with SCL Elections See @chrisinsilico and @CommonsCMS Select Committee document release.
Zelo blog
“Other sources being fed into Metis include aggregated census records, social media profile data and online political advertising response data”? Withthe intention to gather ten million peoples’ personal information by the end of next year?”
Another doc in the @chrisinsilico @CommonsCMS bundle from the Global Science Research (Kogan) contract with SCL Elections Ltd indicated that Facebook changed its rules to make data acquisition more difficult sometime in 2014.
His potted history suggests he worked on the digital side of Labour and also on the US Pres Elections, but different campaigns to SCL/CA/ Kanto/ GSR-Kogan
Where would those data come from?
All we know is that within a year all shares were Whitehurst and the company was struck off in July 2016, soon after the EU Ref.
No accounts were filed.
I do not know what data fields was in METIS.
I do not know what use to which it was put.
I think we are entitled to know @ICOnews
