Its shouter-in-chief Arnab was seen foaming at his mouth while pontificating about political bias of @altnews

Let us examine how "independant" Republic TV actually is

Republic TV proclaims itself the only "independent news venture".

The word independent occurs twice in the twitter bio of the @republic handle

In this day and age where twitter is a tool for propaganda dissemination, the hashtags used and promoted by @republic paint a vivid picture of how "independent" they really are.

Here is an analysis of the hashtags in every single tweet from 6th May 2017 to 31st Dec 2017

To start with, let us compare @republic's hashtags about Modi vs Rahul Gandhi.

Obviously, this comparison screams "independent"

. @republic has an unhealthy obsession with @shashitharoor and they frequently use hashtags about Sunanda's death to divert attention from other important news that might show the govt in negative light.
OTOH, not even a single hashtag about Judge Loya's murder

Just drop all pretense, remove the word "independent" from your twitter profile and change it to

"Propaganda mouthpiece of BJP/RSS"

It was @mvmeet this time but sure enough your time will come soon, until then continue being a lapdog....
