American Slavery was unique because it was race based. It was vile because it was incestuous, it was extremely brutal, and it defied, the principles and values this Country was founded upon. Even Jefferson knew, there would be a reckoning for the institution, he predicted it when
he made the comment about fearing for his Country if there was a just God. So, whatever point you were trying to make seems moot. Some things you don’t “but”. You just let be.
P.S. There is a military post you should go visit, it’s called Fort Monroe, it was the only Union held Fortress in Virginia. It was infamous because of the “Contraband” obtained during the War, that Contraband were former slaves who freed themselves...
