So I have to put this out there.

I was wondering "why is Brevard so hot to trot to put more weapons into schools?"

Brevard is the only school district, to my knowledge, that has gone this far with that "plan" and has done so in spectacular fashion.

But....why?

So what is my point (I'm getting there)?
There is, IMHO, enough evidence to infer that based on a psychological profile obtained via "questionable" methods, that this whole S.T.O.M.P. issue is yet a different brand of #ThePoliticsOfFear that plays to the agenda of the NRA.

Not having attended any of the meetings (I work a lot), I cannot say with any certainty that the messaging coming from those on the school board and state reps during various town hall meetings, were framed on fear, falsehoods, and slightly warped justifications.
Just a guess.

In essence they are trying to scare the general citizenry into not only making a decision based on emotion but one that will, in all likely hood, place our children in a more dangerous situation that is supposed to be safer.

I can only encourage everyone to be real about the situation but to live your lives and teach your children to live their lives in confidence and strength.
