The fierce fighting around #Bakhmut and other hotspots in the east continues.

Bakhmut is 35 miles (55km) from #Kadiivka in #Luhansk region which has been under Russian control since 2014.

More death and destruction from #Russia already this morning.

Four people are dead in #Lviv region after local officials say a rocket hit a residential area.

Rescuers are still searching debris in #Zolochiv.

Another attack and another death in #Dnipropetrovsk region.

Drones and rockets were used by #Russia, leaving a 34 year old man dead and two injured according to Serhiy Lysak, the regional governor.

#Ukraine's nuclear energy regulator has issued an urgent warning about Europe's largest nuclear plant.

Energoatom says the #Zaporizhzhia plant in #Enerhodar has been completely de-energised after Russian shelling.

This morning's attack by #Russia was unique according to Yuriy Ihnat, spokesman of #Ukraine's Air Force.

In total, 81 missiles were launched including 6 Kh-22 and 6 "Dagger" warheads.
There were 8 more guided air missiles and 20 Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea.

Two people hospitalised in the #Sviatoshyn district of #Ukraine's capital, while there was also an explosion in the #Holosiiv area.

Mayor @Vitaliy_Klychko says 40% of residents are without heating.

First photos on social media in #Kyiv show damage to cars on the street following #Russia's attack.

5 vehicles were completely destroyed and another 15 were damaged.
There are also reports of damage to the fronts of many residential buildings.

3 civilians killed in #Kherson after #Russia shelled a bus stop

It's a frequent, therefore not accidental, occurence in the de-occupied region, that the Terrorist Regime is targeting queues & public transport stops

#Kharkiv is without power after missile stikes hit the city.

Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov reports transformer substations were hit, but for critical institutions, hospitals etc, they are able to run off generators.

15 missiles targeted the region, 11 aimed at #Kharkov itself.

A fifth body has been recovered from #Zolochiv in the western #Lviv region of #Ukraine. A rocket smashed into residential housing - the devastation clear to see in this video.

Mass missile attacks by #Russia across the country took three thermal power plants offline.

My analysis of the mass missile attack by #Russia

Firstly, the Terrorist State targets energy infrastructure, but also civilian targets, with plausible deniability of "unguided weapons" or that #Ukraine's defences must have knocked them off course.

Today's attack is the first mass missile launch on #Ukraine for 3 weeks, the longest gap since #Russia began such attacks in October. This likely shows they are worried about depleting stocks, but the worry is the Kremlin is being resupplied by Iran (likely), N.Korea or China

(more) Patriot systems are "on their way" but the delay of any supply costs lives as we've seen today.

The fact that #Russia used so many types of missile, including 'Kinzhal' hypersonics, could be them striking before Patriot arrives.

President @ZelenskyyUa says he held an emergency meeting this morning with key figures in Defence and Energy following the mass missile attack.

As he published his post on Telegram, another nationwide air-raid warning sounded with #Russia's planes active again from #Belarus.

#Poland's Deputy PM says they've already given #Ukraine the remaining 10 of the 14 Leopard-2 tanks.

Mariusz Blaszczak added "In addition to these 14 tanks, this battalion also includes four tanks from Canada, eight from Norway, and six from Spain,"

In what I see as a pure diversionary tactic, #Russia, immediately after striking civilians and civilian infrastructure in #Ukraine, announced they'd foiled an assassination attempt on the "leader" of #Transnistria, the unrecognised Russian occupied strip of #Moldova.

Another video from #Kherson of the damage from the ongoing shelling by #Russia's forces over the river.

These houses are on Korabelnaya Square, in the centre. Zero military value. Pure destruction, targeting of locals.

#Russia may have two new friends.
Military exercises are planned with #Mongolia and #Laos according to the Kremlin.

One person has been killed in occupied #Volnovakha and another injured according to #Russia.

The Occupiers claim a HIMARS missile hit the bus station in the town in #Donetsk region, midway between #Mariupol' and Donetsk city.

Some reports of explosions in #Dnipro region. These are purely planned work on unexploded enemy munitions. Sappers will also be working in #Kyiv region this afternoon.

'High-ranking officials' of the US Defence Department believes #Iran is using #Ukraine as a testing ground for its weapons.

The CNN report comes just a couple of days after Sky proved the Iranians had given 100m bullets and 300k shells to #Russia, but no ballistic missiles yet.

Power has been restored to #Ukraine's and #Europe's biggest nuclear power plant.

Earlier today #Russia's shelling saw the #Zaporizhzhia plant need to rely on diesel generators to avoid a catastophe.

After the repair, it can now power its own needs from Ukraine's energy system.

I've not seen this verified, but it's reported somce channels in #Russia were hacked, resulting in a warning of a nuclear attack.

"Everyone quickly to the shelters" urged the notice as the threat spread eastwards.
