The DCCC has also been extremely sloppy. It recruited a ton of millionaires to run for office in CA. The prob w millionaires running is that they have unlimited resources to fund their campaign; so even when their fundraising stalls they continue to personally fund their campaign
Millionaire candidates, even when they're lagging in the polls, are not heeding calls from the national party to drop out. They're being arrogant/stubborn. They have made the races about themselves & not about building a Democratic majority in Congress to balance and check Trump.
In some of these CA districts, the multiple millionaire Dems will split the Dem vote like crumbs &, possibly, allow the Republican incumbent & another strategical high-profile GOP recruit to advance into the general election. This will hurt Dems' chances of taking back the House
