@DHORLIBABE Madam, genuinely you don’t get to decide that. SARS is as good as gone. Don’t get transfixed on the #EndSARS (Objective) but remember #ReformPoliceNG (EndGame) which makes things better for all not just those benefitting from the proceeds from SARS.
@DHORLIBABE Telling Nigerians you want to fix SARS means you are either being mendacious or naive. It is a Cancer. You can’t fix it. Violence, Belligerence, Crime & Culture Of Abuse have become endemic. You can only sever it to save the Police structure itself.
@DHORLIBABE Ideally we should be calling for the disbandment of the Police but even I with security experience of years know that this is going to be impossible though justifiable. We can always salvage the police for we have good people in the system.
@DHORLIBABE We‘re all aware that SARS was set up based on the erroneous belief of former military dictators that armed robbery & other violent crimes couldn’t be contained by armed police personnel. Recall they were mostly soldiers back then which further influenced the indecorous militancy.
@DHORLIBABE We are in a Democratic setting now yet the Police/SARS Are still acting without limits against the law of the land. Unless your argument is that we break the law to uphold the law or that the SARS are above the law of the country. Can we divorce the Law from law enforcers?
@DHORLIBABE Why should we pride ourselves as a country/civilization when armed substance abusers, Ex-criminals and recidivists are backed by the state to abuse citizens’ rights, abduct, torture and rob them at gun point?
@DHORLIBABE Madam, I understand the intricacies deeper than the IGP but let me give you a few tipsjust so you can put things in proper perspectives enough to know those who don’t mean well for the Country wittingly or unwittingly.
@DHORLIBABE Here you are with a handful of bandits under the auspices of SARS numbering 3,800 these clique have since doubled as the money merchants of the Police department deployed across the 36 states & FCT in groups of say 100s per state.
@DHORLIBABE Despite their sparse number, the Police structure failed to document, monitor, train or discipline these lots in ethics but ceded the monopoly of violence to them even when it was obvious they are not aligned with the purpose of the unit but clearly running another agenda.
@DHORLIBABE Now the image, career and reputation of striving 350,000 Policie personnel is on the line because of the unchecked atrocities & impunity of the barbaric Organized Crime Syndicate which have since affected the conduct of other officers in collusion at the stations.
@DHORLIBABE As if this was not enough the police hierarchy benefitting from the proceeds of bloodletting are also willing to sacrifice the internal security of over 190Million Nigerians (mostly youths) to protect the perpetuation of their rights to receive deposits from these recidivists.
@DHORLIBABE Unbeknownst to these national saboteurs, they have ceded the monopoly of violence of the Neo-Colonial state to these armed gangs who now believe they wield the power of the Presidency thus the statement “I’ll kill you and nothing will happen” cum other daring atrocities.
@DHORLIBABE We have carefully studied the trends and the dangerous trajectory enough to know how this ends thus the need to salvage the situation. How many day do you think it will take raging Lagosians to wipe out 100 SARS Criminals? How long will it take for other states to follow suit?
@DHORLIBABE What are the Odds of 350,000 policemen surviving an onslaught unleashed by 190Million people in their primal mode of kill or be killed? What are the chances that the families of Police personnels will survive this? Now tell me who doesn’t mean well for the country.
@DHORLIBABE As we speak, the IGP is flummoxed and discombobulated about the agitation and will do anything to ameliorate the situation. What would he do?
@DHORLIBABE The very same thing that others before him did. Create a temporary solution to cure a problem that never should’ve been, which inadvertently becomes yet another cancer within the cancer while remaining on the defense.
@DHORLIBABE It is indeed confirmed that SARS & indeed the Police have deviated completely from the provisions of Administration of the Criminal Justice Act (ACJA 2015).
@DHORLIBABE A law that merged the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Act (CPA), and Criminal Procedure Code (CPC) into one principal federal enactment, which applies to all federal courts across the federation and FCT.
@DHORLIBABE Section 2-7 of the ACJA 2015 compels law enforcement agents like the police and other units under them to respect fundamental rights of Nigerians.

Section 111 of the ACJA 2015 focuses on measures to depopulate prisons and other detention centres.
@DHORLIBABE Section 16 of the ACJA 2015 stipulates that the tasks of enforcing the law becomes easier for law enforcers if adequate and efficient records of offenders are documented.

Section 396 of the ACJA 2015 focuses on the need to fast track trials of persons alleged of crimes.
@DHORLIBABE So why do we pretend to mean well when we defend a criminal armed by the state who is oblivious of the law yet acts on his own agenda at the expense of 190Million Nigerians, our civilization and our internal security. What other injustice or treason is beyond this?
@DHORLIBABE Yet when these criminals are exposed and followed up until they are tried, the police structure simply dismissed them regardless of the seriousness of their offenses, to become future bank robbers. Please tell me who doesn’t mean well for Nigeria.
@DHORLIBABE Ma’am, between you and mendacious Abayomi Shogunle, you obstreperously celebrated this attachment as an achievement shortly after denying that all the claims of the people are false, yet you declared recovering over N11Million from extortions (Armed Robbery by SARS/Police)?
@DHORLIBABE In a country where people hardly bother about polls and petitions, over 37,000 Nigerians signed a petition to scrap SARS and press for the trigger of the Reformation of the Police, yet those who swore to serve & Protect us want to force their will against our collective Destiny?
@DHORLIBABE For many years I’ve known that to understand any national problem the best angle to investigate is the perspective of those who stand to benefit from the problem. It is clear why an illegitimate program such as SARS will get the vote of some people in the system.
@DHORLIBABE I will let you ruminate on these perspectives for a bit while I prepare to move unto another angle. Our approach to this issue has been via different angles from Law, Politics, Ethics, Code of Conduct, Corruption, Security, Self Preservation & Government.
@DHORLIBABE It is more or less a 360’ perspective to ensure we choke bias. But on your side based on all we have gathered, you people are simply trying to stage a defense in denial while you clean up to show activity. What I once termed to be Isomorphic Mimicry (Activity void progression)
@DHORLIBABE My recommendation though is that you take stock and release the audit of your SARS/SAC/SAKS operatives across Nigerian states. Their pictures, Names and phone numbers. Put them on a website for easy identification & their assigned area of operation.
@DHORLIBABE This way if there is any violation of rights of any citizen in any area, we already know who to hold responsible. This will force accountability and caution the men. We won’t have people arrested in Ojota taken to Ibadan.
@DHORLIBABE Also the officers must be trained on ethics and the basics of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act 2015. From the simple measures to take during an arrest to the basics of documentation after a lawful arrest.
@DHORLIBABE These are not reforms but stop gaps before we send these criminals packing from our streets. It is obvious they don’t listen to anyone nor obey the IGP himself. They have mostly gone rogue and would require a higher force to reign in. We’ve done our home work.
@DHORLIBABE A lot of work will have to be done to redeem the image of the Police after the shutdown of the ruinous and cancerous SARS program. It’s time to start preparing for life after free money from bloodletting. #EndSARS #ReformPoliceNG
