Watching the direction that the Left has moved towards lately makes one recall instances of the not-too-distant past….
Remember when conservative activists would swarm around Kathleen Sebelius when she and her family were dining at IHOP (back when it was IHOP)?
Remember when the owners of The Blue Nun restaurant asked Robert Gibbs to leave because the wait staff disagreed with the Obama administration’s policies?
Remember when conservative activists encircled California AG Kamala Harris as she attempted to go to a theater to watch a documentary about Captain Kangaroo?
Remember when firebrand loose cannon Orrin Hatch implored individuals to push back against members of the Obama administration when encountering them in public places?
Oh, wait….those things never happened. That is mainly because conservatives are not foaming at the mouth stark raving lunatics like the Left has become.
But my advice to the Left – Keep this up. Please. There are still some swing voters out there you have yet to alienate.
So, keep it up with your in-your-face style of winning folks over. At least through November. Possibly for another 6.5 years, at this rate.
