The level of hand wringing and pearl clutching by Democrats over the “border crisis” is as transparent as it is predictable. But why now? Why the sudden race to the border to uncover this “crisis”?
The answer is simple. Because this is all the Dems have.
They have no platform. They have no ideas. They have no agenda.

The Dems are frantically trying to come up with something – anything – to run on in the mid-terms. To date, all they have put forth is Nancy “Crumbs” Pelosi’s unstable criticism of the historically low unemployment numbers.
They can’t put up a fight against the GOP tax cuts, which have ignited the economy, benefited over 80% of the country, and aided in the plunge in unemployment.
Oh, wait – Nancy said they will. My bad.

All the Dems have left is wedge issues. Even if they are issues that they conveniently chose to ignore four years ago, when the Obama administration tried to hide the border crisis which happened under their watch.
Are the Dems concerned about immigration? Sure. Do they have any intention of changing the “broken immigration laws”?
Not. A. Chance.
Not. A. Chance.
The Dems use illegal immigrants as political pawns. Always will. Trying to solve the “broken immigration laws” will deprive them of this treasured trump card.
Not to mention the sheer irony of the Dems’ sudden religious approach to the “border crisis”. The same party that openly supports late term abortion has suddenly found the Bible. How convenient.
Also ironic – the same party that routinely questions Trump’s authority and tends to compare him to Hitler demands that he single-handedly take action to stop said “border crisis”.

So, expect the hand-wringing to continue as the Dems continue to try to appeal to their ever-shrinking, increasingly unstable base.
The Dems would like this to be the choice voters have in November – stop separating children from parents or you are quite likely a Nazi.

One party has lowered taxes which has led to historically low unemployment and a booming economy.
The other party wants to reverse this.
