Amy Barrett has said Roe v. Wade was an “erroneous decision” + called ACA's birth control benefit “an assault on religious liberty.”

Also Murkowski and Collins both voted to confirm her to be a circuit court judge in Nov. huffingtonpost.com/entry/amy-cone…
Three Democrats also voted to confirm Barrett to be a lifetime circuit judge: Joe Manchin, Joe Donnelly and Tim Kaine.
Barrett was also a member of a tightly knit Christian group called People of Praise, -- where men are referred to as “heads” & women are “handmaids” ― and taught that husbands are the heads of wives and should exercise authority over family. nytimes.com/2017/09/28/us/…

Dems have opposed lots of Trump's judicial picks, but Thomas Farr really stands out. Black Caucus members attended his confirmation hearing to oppose him. Every Dem in Judiciary spoke out against him. A civil rights group tied him to “the worst elements of white supremacy."
Every Republican on the Judiciary Committee voted to advance Farr's nomination earlier this year. huffingtonpost.com/entry/thomas-f…

Among them: Jeff Flake, who is currently threatening to hold up all judicial nominees until the Mueller protection bill gets a vote. We'll see if that holds.

Murkowski in extended hallway interview says Roe v. Wade will be “a factor” she will weigh in her SCOTUS vote, but not the only factor.
Murkowski said she continues to support GORSUCH and recommended him to Trump WH before the pick. She expects to weigh in ahead of the pick again and will look over his list of 25 names.
If Democrats unite in opposition, 2 Republicans would need to vote against Trump nominee to block SCOTUS pick. There happen to be 2 Republican senators who support Roe ad reiterated that today: Murkowski and Susan Collins. But neither is drawing red lines in sand.
