The Kremlin reaction to Butina’s arrest is intensifying. Lavrov pressured Pompeo during their recent call, a letter has been delivered to Huntsman, the Russian Amb to UN commented, and every other article in Russian press is about Butina. How long will it take Trump to fold?
It will be interesting to see if Putin offers Trump some kind of exchange for Butina. Perhaps Snowden that was floated as an election gift for Trump over a year ago. Seriously we need to keep an eye on this case
The Embassy was granted access the other day and spent 2 hours with her which is normal procedure but combined with the free Butina govt social media campaign and so much pressure on American officials over an alleged ‘student’ this is not normal
