Words of advice from a pastor- practical theologian. I am finding whole new generation of students who think that studying the Bible or theology without thoughtful study of practical theology is ok.
Then, they want to “pastor.” End result is they haven’t the skills to read the living human documents, and very little skills in reading their own life. They put their issues our all over the place not even knowing they are doing so.
People are damaged, but without self awareness or a level of professionalism the pastors doing the damage are not aware of how they are to blame.
