@jasonhickel Families will be matrilocal and extended, so that emotional and economic stability for women and children does not depend on the stability of marriage.
@jasonhickel Economies will be more local, more low-tech, more low-consumption, less competitive, with everybody contributing to providing the basics of food, clothing, shelter, & child care & everybody having their basic needs met. With time left over for artistic & intellectual pursuits.
@jasonhickel Children will be more integrated into the extended family & community, & schools will become open community learning centers that serve both children & adults. Childcare will be distributed across the community rather than being the responsibility of low-paid or unpaid women.
