Today's designated @WhiteHouse TV pool reporter @kaitlancollins says on air she was barred from the Rose Garden open press event this afternoon because "the White House did not like the questions I posed to President Trump earlier today."
Her questions were about @MichaelCohen212 and came at the end of the Oval Office 'pool spray' for the meeting between @POTUS and @JunckerEU.
Reporter @kaitlancollins says she was summoned by new @WhiteHouse communications director Bill Shine and @PressSec and told because of her pool spray questions she was being reprimanded and wouldn't be permitted to attend the open press event. (This is apparently unprecedented.)
It should be noted that Shine is a former @FoxNews executive.
Shine should "formally publicly apologize" for this, says @wolfblitzer on air.
"This is an attack on the free press," adds @wolfblitzer.
