The goal of every Advocacy is to stir a conversation and create an engagement. If you are doing this with your means of reaching the world, make that count by making a difference and create better experiences. This is how we influence and impact our world for generations to come.
You may know enough to carry on your Day Job and earn yourself a decent pay to cater to your bills but this shouldn’t make you assume that is enough knowledge about everything. We can’t know enough about everything. This is where collaboration comes in. #ContinousEducation

First you are deliberately impoverished via inhumane policies weaponized to ruin the economy and make you beggarly. They when you protest they pretend as though they care by increasing the paper you are slaving to earn. Note that Maslow’s hierarchy of needs has been inverted.
All schools of humanistic psychology informs that Physiological needs are no longer the topmost priorities and humans beings in the 21st century. It is not about bigger salaries or more vanities but the desire to become the most you can be according to purpose. #NeverAgain
Look at the value of the Naira and see the margin of increase and sincerely interoculate to evaluate the negligible change. The increase is meaningless. What labour should be fighting for is a reduced cost of living by holding Govt to account to deliver on its promises.

Kindly note and avoid disinformation. SARS (FSARS), SAKS & SACS are all under probation based on the national outcry by the #EndSARS #ReformPoliceNG Movement. They’ve not been reformed neither did we clamor for their reformation but their disbandment & Reformation of the Police.
The sustainable reformation process of the entire Police structure will take years under a conscionable cum genuine leadership. Anyone who claims that the Police/SARS have been reformed is a raving lunatic and should be ignored. #ReformPoliceNG
From experience men with combatant training need structure & order without which they can not function effectively. Idleness bring out the need to displace the energy somehow thus the heightened crime rate of operatives starved of funds & proper engagement. They’re victims too.

Over the next few tweets (actually more than a few tweets) I will list out my favourite crime fiction books of the year.
@LiamMcIlvanney's The Quaker was by far the best crime fiction book I read this year. It's set in Glasgow of the 60s. Has some brilliant prose and a twist at the end. Everything one wants in a good crime book.
If I was not such a great sucker for Scottish crime fiction, Attica Locke's Blue Bird Blue Bird, would have been the best crime book I read this year. This is a great example of how a crime book can be very literary as well. Set in Texas full of racism, with a black detective.

1/ I’m very passionate about #books. Every opportunity I get I try to buy some more books for my #antilibrary. However, over the last year, I have changed how I read books. I’d like to share the short story and process in the following thread:
2/ Story: I felt like I was stagnating. I read a lot but I didn’t think I read well. I’d forget almost all of what I read besides a few key points in a fairly short period of time. Being in fields that require consistent learning, I felt I needed to change my approach.

Imagine being in a deep, deep sleep. You’re all cozied up. Almost nothing can wake you up. All of a sudden, you hear a loud, deafening noise, so loud, not only can you not think with it, you can hear it thrashing violently in your head, shaking every muscle (Thread)
The aftershock of the noise leaves you in a groggy, drunken state. You feel the ground above you shake so violently, it’s as if the ground spits you out. You frantically look around to see what’s happening with not a single hint on what’s happening because it’s all shock
You notice you have no clothes. Your naked, defenseless, and feel the harsh heat of the sun which only stands a mile over your head. You frantically barge everyone you see with questions. “What’s going on? What is this?”
