I find it interesting that when women freeze their eggs it's written as a form of female empowerment. No one shames them for their inability to find a suitable father (and lying about careerism being the reason) at 40 y.o.
But men are portrayed as crying babies about low sperm count and freezing their sperm is a source of shame. Why is that?
I presume that when a woman goes to a sperm bank to fulfill her dreams of single motherhood she chooses sperm that's been frozen as well? Where's the shame in that?
Also, imagine this nightmare scenario: A rich man freezes his sperm and it's stolen to impregnate a woman. Is he now responsible for child support of that kid?
