I was driving through Mid-Tennessee in 2010 when Diane Black was running for Congress. At some point we passed by an enormous bald guy on the side of the road, clutching a big Diane Black campaign sign.
The guy was hitchhiking with the sign, and would somehow always end up back on the road ahead of us even though we kept driving past him. He reminded me a bit of Judge Holden, although he had eyebrows.
Finally after passing him like four times we found him waiting at a gas station and I tried to interview him (?). But his answer to every question was just "I'm for Diane Black. I'm for Diane Black."
