I just got off work & out of nowhere, here at 5am, I remembered a weird Hanna Barbera cartoon where all their animal characters were on an ark looking for somewhere called “The Perfect Place.”
Like Quickdraw McGraw and Magilla Gorilla were on this flying Noah’s Ark. I don’t know that they ever said what happened to make them feel they needed to do this.
I do not recall what adventures they did or did not have. I do not believe they ever found The Perfect Place. Really, all I remember was them singing a song that went, “WE’RE ON OUR WAY TO THE PERFECT PLACE! THE PERFECT PLA-AAAAACE!”
Also, I don’t recall there were many female— much less species compatible— characters on the show, so their plan for this new world seemed underdeveloped at best. Although they never specified why this place was perfect. Maybe they were fine.
What a strange entertainment for children.
