/ I was thinking about some of the things I've changed my mind about in the past 10 years.

Here's a list:
/ I used to think of angel investing versus professional venture capital investing as "little league" versus "major league". Now I see them as two very different crafts, but with related skillsets and sometimes cross-over practitioners.
/ I used to be skeptical of "fin-tech" as it seemed like a weak combination of traditional Internet customer acquisition applied to traditional financial services business models. Now I think fin-tech may be one of the most interesting/impactful areas of technology today.
/ Companies like @Opendoor / @coinbase have shown me interesting approaches to serving peoples' financial needs that are radical re-imaginations only possible with technology.

(As a bonus, fintech opps are largely under-competed by technology incumbents (FAANG). h/t @joshelman)
/ I used to think "just decentralizing money" was not interesting enough to spend much time on once it was already invented (👏 Satoshi). Now I think there will be lots of technology built to support "just decentralizing money". I'm watching @alexbosworth's work closely here.
/ I used to think that remote teams were used by entrepreneurs who were unskilled at recruiting local teams (or too cheap!). Now I have more direct experience working with remote teams and have found it game-changing in the "hypothesis testing stage" of building.
/ I used to think silicon valley had a near-monopoly on the best technical talent. Now I think exceptional talent lives all over the world and can't always move here (for a variety of reasons). (👋 @toptal, @trygigster)
/ I used to think "all-in" approach to startups was the only way to get a "continue or kill" signal quickly. I now believe in giving an idea low-pressure space to grow. I saw this with @travisk and @uber prior to "day 0". Something in the @slow manifesto resonates more now, too.
/ I used to think @twitter was useful, but "just okay". Now I think it's simultaneously both much better and much worse that I expected it could be when using it 10 years ago.
/ I was not much of a dog person before I met Zooey. Now:
/ I'm willing to change my mind about almost anything given the appropriate evidence.
