Telling that it's Nadine Dorries who comes out to defend Boris Johnson
Dorries recently told a British Muslim journalist to "appreciate just a little the country and the people you have chosen... benefit from". independent.co.uk/news/uk/politi…
Dorries also told Sadiq Khan, a Muslim politician, to "act on sex abusing grooming gangs" in Rotherham. Sadiq is the Mayor of London.
Dorries has also previously spoken of being "joined at the hip" to Christian fundamentalist right-wing activist Andrea Williams and they can be seen working together here. Williams reportedly believes Islam is "the work of the devil".
According to the Channel 4 Documentary-maker David Modell, Williams views on Islam "are so offensive they're barely printable." independent.co.uk/news/media/dis…
So when Boris Johnson makes Islamophobic remarks about Muslim women, it's not surprising that Dorries would defend him. What is surprising is the complete silence from a prime minister who has described Islamophobia as "extremism" that cannot be tolerated. theguardian.com/politics/2017/…

There's a conspiracy theory doing the rounds on here that this member of the public, who backed May's deal on Newsnight last night, was in fact paid by the BBC to play the part of a Brexit supporting reverend.
Someone tracked down a page showing she's done some extra work in the past, so therefore they all think she must be a paid crisis actor. Obviously.
They even tracked down her IMDB page showing she'd previously acted on BBC shows, which apparently was the clincher.
