.@Bernstein your article is wrong. The files are not blocked nor did the settlement make them legal to distribute. They were already legal and only defcad.org was barred from publishing them. This is not a nitpick.
The article give the very wrong impression that sharing those files or hosting them is or was illegal. That is totally false and is a critical detail in the dispute with FB.
The piece also neglected to mention the extensive FB censorship of articles, reddit posts, and other links about the files. The piece needs substantial fixes.
