I chose to watch reruns of Star Trek Deep Space 9 instead of getting in my usual Twitter dose. Now for you non-trekkies you need to know that the whole ST franchise is based on a world that has solved the problems of racism, poverty, crime and all other issues that plague us 1/
So in season 3 episode 11 & 12 the crew is transported back in time to the 21st century, before all those problems were solved. The year was 2024 and people who didn't have jobs or a place to live were put in sanctuary cities. Not the Sanctuary city we know but a walled off 2/
City where you are promised help finding work and housing but it never happens.

Why am I telling y'all about this? It reminds me of where we are today. Those suffering and those standing by need to find common ground and work together to make the world a better place
I know I am not giving it justice. I recommend everyone watch it. It's a commentary on our time. BTW it was filmed in 1995!

It is just not right that @PressSec used her government twitter account to cause this small business problems. Protestors threw shit at the building, hurled insults, and trashed up their @Yelp site. The right talks about civility, what a joke.
SHS never should have named the restuarant. She is a government employee this should never have happened.

But wait, she must think it's ok since trump does this all the time- Amazon, Harley-Davidson & others. This can not continue.
This regime can not be the arbiter of who stays in buiness. This kind of attack must stop. Private businesses should not be harrassed by the government. We should all be angry!

No ypu are twisting and mixing up facts.
1.Rice and Clinton meet. No proof that they spoke about anything regarding investigation. But It deal not look good on face of It.
2. Unmasking. There was probable cause to unmask because our election was meddled with. So I believe
she had the authority to request the Unmasking. There is no evidence to the contrary
3. Dossier. Make sure u read It then tell me It's fake and not worrisome. And It was started by Republicans During primary.
4. President Obama's only error I Can see is that he went to senior
Rs before the election to make a joint statement about the evidence that the Russians were meddling with the vote. McConnell refused said it would affect the outcome & he would blame the Dems if Trump lost.So he erred on the side of protecting our faith in the election process..

I've been driving it for almost a year, and just tried to refuel a rental car...
so naturally I failed to put the gas cap back on.
or like, back in 2008 my workplace in NC was one of the first places I saw those automatic hands-free sinks. They were great... until I went to a restaurant that had similar looking sinks that weren't automatic, and stood there for 30 seconds looking like a bozo with dry hands

Just some background before we begin, Reign of Fire is a post-apocalyptic fantasy film that was released in 2002.

You might not remember it because it came out the same year as another high profile fantasy film, Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.
For a seemingly forgettable B movie, the cast is bananas.

Christian Bale, 3 movies removed from American Psycho and 3 movies before Batman Begins.

Matthew McConaughey, stuck doing rom-coms, one film from The Wedding Planner and one film from How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days.

I didn’t think Westworld could get dumber at the end of season 2, but it did, and I’d recommend a bunch of other crrrrrrazy robot shows worth watching instead that are smarter, tighter, and richer.
1) Obviously Battlestar Galactica. Final season runs off the rails but as a robots-run-amok drama where maybe humans are the real monsters, it's poetry.
1a) The spinoff, Caprica, had a slow start but got real good right before its cancellation. Lovely exploration of the self, memory, and grief. Tackles the digital composite concept well to ask what we are: Who we say we are or the choices we make or the symbols we leave behind.
