Two big announcements from us today …

tl;dr: 😢😃💪✏️🎙️📻
First — after 3.5 years with @nprtraining and 15 (!) at @NPR, our colleague @ajmacadam will be leaving at the end of the month to try new things. We will miss her a lot! She’s made many lasting contributions to #pubmedia, including this: training.npr.org/audio/the-jour…
But in the spirit of turning 🍋➡️🍹, we are very excited to announce that our team is growing and we are hiring *three* people. If you want to push #PubMedia in innovative directions, read on. training.npr.org/blog/want-to-m… #pubjobs
Job 1: Reporting & Writing Specialist — This is a brand new position. We need n accomplished journalist who loves talking about what makes great reporting and writing, particularly on digital platforms. training.npr.org/blog/reporting…
Job 2: Audio Production Specialist — We need an experienced audio producer with a journalist’s mind, an engineer’s ear, and a teacher’s heart; someone who knows great sound when they hear it and can help others understand how it got that way. training.npr.org/blog/audio-pro…
Job 3: Audio Storytelling Specialist — We need a skilled editor, producer or reporter who gets excited about story structure, the craft of editing and the endless search for “good tape." (job listing coming soon)
Could you be one of these people? Apply soon! training.npr.org/blog/want-to-m… Someone else you know? Please share.
We are a creative, enterprising team. When you work with @nprtraining, you have the opportunity to be a thought leader in your field and tackle some of the most essential questions in our industry.
And you can still get bylines — on npr.org/training, our growing open source site. (Along with the standard perks of #nprlife, like #tinydesk concerts and a #freefood channel in Slack.)
