I assume most people who'd read my tweets can already spot a whole bunch of cultural assumptions here.

What's interesting is this idea that is something doesn't use formal language it doesn't represent a culture and hence can't have cultural biases.
Molyneux isn't even making the right claim about this style of IQ items - the more sensible claim is that such items reduce LANGUAGE biases. That claim is also flawed but at least it makes more sense than Molyneux's.
Presenting a task without verbal clues* and expecting somebody to complete it correctly is itself a cultural bias. A person who already fully understand what is expected of them has an advantage

So. Y'all remember this picture, right? It's adorable, charing and all over the shop since it first appeared in June last year. Well, there's more. Thing is, the National Aquarium of New Zealand has done it, as advertised, EVERY MONTH since then and, folks, it's a ride. Strap in.
July is criminally absent from the NANZ facebook page, but we rejoin our penguins in August, with some lightweight mischief from Pepper (nothing in the league of Timmy's assult, though) and the punctual, but somewhat mundane virtues of the Captain.

Last July, I used Moneysupermarket for a car insurance quote. In January I found out they'd passed that personal info to Arron Banks's company. This week, parliament was told he used insurance data to campaign for Brexit. Creepy? Much?
