Zondo now dealing with Hawks Major General Zinhle Mnonopi's application, she wants to cross-examine Mcebisi Jonas who accused her of forcing him to sign a pre-written statement. #StateCaptureInquiry
Zondo he is uncomfortable in ruling on Mnonopi's application to cross-examine if the other person who was in the room when she allegedly tried to force Jonas to sign a false statement is not traced. #StateCaptureInquiry
Zondo says Kaunda, Mtolo and Mnonopi applications to cross-examine will remain deferred. Fana Hlongwane also made an application but Zondo still needs to study it. #StateCaptureInquiry

Mentor said she told Zuma that Ajay had offered him a ministerial post and told her that then minister of public enterprises Barbara Hogan would be fired. She says Zuma tried to calm him down.... and he did not react to her statements. #StateCaptureInquiry

Mentor tells the commission that after she was offered the position and declined, the cabinet reshuffle happened and Malusi Gigaba was appointed as the new minister of public enterprises. The SAA route was changed as the Guptas wanted. #StateCaptureInquiry

Mentor is told that Lakela Kaunda (former advisor to Zuma) has denied calling her or speaking to her in 2010. Mentor says she is sure it was Kaunda who called her back then telling her about a meeting with Zuma.

Mentor said she went to a police station in May 2016 in Durbanville to lay charges. She told a commander that she wanted to lay a charges against high powered people. She requested that she needs to do a statement at home not at the police station. #StateCaptureInquiry
