From a biblical point of view, almost everyone is possessed😂 don't fight me. Let me finish..A person who lies too much is said to be possessed by the spirit of deception,while those who are sexually active are possessed by a spirit of lust,those who hate have a spirit of hatred.
If you eat too much you have a spirit of gluttony, if you're a jealous person then you my dear,have the spirit of greed & enviousness. The main point here is that every bad thing you do is attributed to the demon/spirit that's possessing you. Hard to take in hey? I can imagine.
I also freaked out when I learnt this truth. What gave me some comfort was the fact that there were possessions that i could deal with on my own through prayer..these included habits of lying, anger, swearing & laziness. This i can deal with without undergoing exorcism..
However, this still doesn't make it any easier.The thought of being manipulated by a foreign entity is horrifying enough.Never mind being a host to such wicked entities,now that's what I pray to never encounter in my life.
My high school was one of the leading schools in the demonic possession tournaments in our district.I swear! Masibumbane was always number one but our school was also in the top ten.I sometimes wonder why mom allowed me to attend at a school that was openly under spiritual attack
But then again,just because other schools weren't making headlines doesn't mean the devil wasn't roaming around their premises.There's a famous saying by Christians that "he won't attack unless you're fighting him"Our neighboring schools didn't even have morning prayers..get it ?
Let me break it down to you, what they're saying is that the devil has no business tormenting you when he already has you... Now I dont know if this makes sense, but in the context of my school, it did.The morning prayers & visitations by pastors were a fight. Hence he reacted.
Luckily I was doing grade 7 when my sister's high school (that I also went to a year later) had what they call *ispoliyane*, where by students (mostly girls) would have seizures & scream saying they're being called by people that others can't see. Ever heard of it ?
These episodes can get hectic real quick.This one girl ran into a busy road,got hit by a car,landed on the gravel road,woke up & continued running to where the voices were calling her.She was later found blood stained &unconscious in a bush,still in her uniform.She had been raped
