Mollie didn't even characterize Nikki's actual statements correctly. Nikki said the ethical thing to do is confront the president directly over disagreement. Which is precisely what "Never Trump" does and for which we are excoriated. Yet Mollie pretends they are "our" brethren.
There is a need to view being NeverTrump in 2016 as a statement of character as opposed to simply a different calculus on the then nominee. They’re as certain in the failure of NeverTrump’s character as NeverTrump is certain in the failure of Trump’s character.
I don't even like the title "never trump" anymore. It's baloney. That was an election statement. All I am is never bullshit. And the GOP and their pundits are full of just about nothing but bullshit.
I barely even pay attention to Trump's character anymore. It's a known commodity at this point. My disdain is for the mountains of bullshit that are shoveled to rationalize that known commodity as something other than what it is.
When he does something incredibly fuckin stupid, I don't point it out because I think "OMG LOOK WHAT A POS HE IS!" I do it because I get a mentions column full of reminders that a whole bunch of you asshole think being a dick is virtuous because winning.
The unraveling of the right is sickening to watch. And entirely unnecessary. I don't oppose good things that happen on Trump's watch. And I attack anyone that does as being equally dishonest. Yet somehow I manage to refrain from sucking his dick.
