Here is the reason I stopped watching the NFL long before Kaepernick started his kneeling. Over 900 arrests since 2000. That's hardly something worth supporting. These aren't poor people struggling to get by having to turn to crime. usatoday.com/sports/nfl/arr…
At least 45 instances of domestic violence. Also cases of battery, DUI (I've seen people put out of the military for that), drunk and disorderly and some other bad behavior.
I remember when players were role models like Mean Joe Greene, Terry Bradshaw, Lynn Swann, and quite a few others. It seemed back then you only had the occasional player arrest. However, over the years, it seems arrests are more frequent.
