On #September11th I drove a delivery truck at the time. I had to drop off some cash at the bank. I walked into this large bank and yelled hello to everyone as always. Not a single soul was there. I kept yelling hello and someone stepped out of the break room and waved me in. /1
I walked into the room and it was dead silence as everyone was watching the TV. A couple of the ladies were crying. I just watched and said, how can that be an accident? /2
We stood there for what seemed like an hour when suddenly the second plane hit. People began running out of the room to their phones. /3
I didn’t want to call my wife because she was up late taking care of a baby. I went ahead and told her to get up and turn on the news. I went on to continue working. /4
She called me a little later to tell me about the Pentagon and other reports coming in. She went and picked up our first child at kindergarten and begged me to come home. I heard the fear in her voice, so l did. Very sad time and we will #NeverForget
