Then the worry about having to beg to be believed.

How about it's pervasive? I don't even think I could tally how many times I was groped, grabbed or pawwed at in that outfit.
I have a vivid memory of being told by an administrator at school that I needed to dress more demurely. I was wearing a turtleneck 2 sizes too big.
