Also the @FBI wasn't just "aware" of the Steele dossier in Oct 2016, it was using the the "bulk" of it as the probable cause for a FISA warrant on @carterwpage!
So, if in **Sep 2018** the Steele dossier is STILL "unverified" allegations according to one of the @washingtonpost top Collusion Conspiracy reporters...

...what was it in **Oct 2016** when the FBI used it as the bulk of a "Verified Application" for a FISA?

Unverified perhaps?
If the FBI didn't verify the dossier allegations, then it didn't follow it's own verification procedures - meaning it lied to the FISA court, because it said it did
Good luck waiting for those basic logical conclusions to be drawn by the WaPo

Because unless a FusionGPS/FBI/DOJ leaker tells them the narrative, they seem incapable of thinking for themselves

You guys know your old stories don't go down an actual memory hole, right?

1/ Whenever I ask for evidence of Trump-Russia collusion, I get this circular-reasoning response:
How do you know that there was no collusion?
My answer: I'm NOT claiming there was no collusion, but I see #ZEROEvidence that Trump colluded. SHOW me your EVIDENCE!
2/ If I were to claim that you murdered someone, I would need to provide evidence of this. My claim does not make it have some sort of merit. If you insist you did not do this and want me to stop pushing such as accusation in public b/c it really did not happen, that makes sense.
3/ Would an innocent person remain silent in the face of a massive campaign by those who don't like that person making unsubstantiated claims? Would they not want to put an end to it? If I were #Trump, I would want this thing shut down too as it looks to be a witch hunt.

WHAT IS THE STEELE DOSSIER?

The Steele Dossier was a hastily cobbled together justification for two things:

1) to justify the spying on Trump's campaign team PRIOR to Mike Rogers shutting down NSA SIGINT database mining for Trump Team comms up to April, 2016.
2) to justify RESTARTING intelligence community intercepts of Trump campaign/transition team comms by proffering the dossier to the FISA Court by claiming Trump team members were foreign agents serving Russia.
We don't know exactly when FBI subcontractors began to be used by the DOJ/FBI Hillary/Obama/DNC nexus to mine the NSA SIGINT database for Trump campaign team comms & then to submit Sec. 702 unmasking requests to reveal the names of Trump team members in the intel incercepts.

Remember WHO it is that's been investigating the DOJ/FBI since January and who is now slow rolling *some* of the evidence out in advance of his soon-to-be-released report to prepare the public for it's explosive revelations:
