I have a few questions though. Who owns Polaris Bank? Why was it yet to be registered by Corporate Affairs Commission? If the board got retained why Change the name of the bank instead of helping it gain strength? 🤔

Information reaching me shows that @cenbank is firmly in control of the affairs of SkyeBank now Polaris Bank. It is still under the same board appointed by Central Bank while awaiting investors to take over the Bank officially. The registration was due to the announcement.
And couldn’t have happened before it from the analysis obtained. At least this puts major questions to rest. We however implore a transparent and objective process for investor take over. Public Trust is Key.
The public need to be carried along and educated on the “Bridge Bank Approach”. We have seen this happen severallybin the sector without a proper education of the public what precisely transpired behind closed doors.
In lay terms, the public should note that Skye Bank wasn’t purchased by Polaris Bank. Rather Polaris Bank is a Bridge Bank, an arrangement by CBN, AMCON et al to prepare the bank for new Investors to take it over as done with other successful previous take overs in th sector.
In the spirit of transparency @cenbank should publish answers to FAQs on this kind of matter for public enlightenment. This is owed to the public if public Trust matters to them.
