Tomorrow we've got a (very) long read on how the SDGs came about, why they matter, and how businesses and investors are responding.
*Spoiler alert* They came about because unsustainable development is unsustainable, they matter because this is the closest thing the world has to a strategy, and businesses are responding because they point to huge new markets and massive stranded asset risk.
And that is why we are really excited about this 18 month project to provide as many businesses and investors as possible with an accessible and yet in-depth new resource to help them navigate the goals that will shape the 21st century economy.
Any feedback, thoughts, ideas, proposals, please do let us know. This is an evolving field, so the aim is to help provide a platform for debate and explore the different ways in which the SDGs will impact businesses.
