Here's news: If you do this for your business, you won't build a business by "begging". Yeah, you may get some sales, here and there, but you will never scale that business. It will not grow.

TO be able to use social media for business, you need to understand how it works. While each platform works a little differently, there's a common denominator and that is: PEOPLE GO ON SOCIAL MEDIA for INFORMATION.

So if people come on here for information,what kind?

They want information that will enrich their lives, meaning it has to be both educational and entertaining,sometimes it can be just the later, but it definitely has to be entertaining.

The key to unlocking sales therefore...
especially if you do not have a huge budget for advertising is to take a look at your niche/market and become an EXPERT at it.

Do you sell fragrances? Don;t just push fragrances. Become an expert at them. What kinds should men wear. What kinds should women wear? What are the...
different scents? What's the difference between a perfume and a fragrance or body mist or pheromones? How are each of them made. Steep your self inside.

Do you sell cosmetics? The same. You sell food? The same. You clean houses? Do the same thing. Learn every aspect of your....
business, especially the nuances which most people are ignorant about, then start teaching people these things.

Become a repository of knowledge of your niche/market/topic and share the information online using your social media channels. Become the EXPERT.

Look at your market.
What needs to happen in order for you to become the expert, the authority, and the one people turn to when they have a question or need advice?

Take every class, buy every course, attend every seminar, and hire every coach/mentor that will help you get better at what you do.
Your best investment right now, and always really, is you.

Once people recognize you as the go-to-expert, they will come to you. Then you can offer your product/services to them.

And guess what? People don't haggle with experts, they pay what they ask.

Think about it.
Let me add: When you start, you won't get much engagement, or shares, or RTs, and it's okay. It's how it's supposed to be. What you should not do is quit because of that. Keep Tweeting, Instagraming, and Facebooking your knowledge and gradually build your audience and your tribe.
The secret to winning on social media is CONSISTENCY. Dont worry about numbers. Focus on providing the best quality content for your audience and at the end of every thread, post or series, promote your business or page and ASK PEOPLE TO DO SOMETHING - follow you, RT, or BUY.
