Hello again @BBCNewsPR It's the chart guy again. This chart clearly says it clearly covers appearances from Jan 2013 to Feb 2018. It does not say there have NEVER been pro-EU MEPs on #bbcqt . That wouldn't be true, as you say. But there is a reason for this... 1/7
We can agree that UK/EU relations have been very divisive for the country, for Labour & for the Tories - especially the Tories - for over 40 years, yes? The thing is 'Brexit' the actual possibility of the UK leaving the EU, only really became a thing about 5 years ago. Look! 2/7 
So since Brexit entered the lexicon, and why the chart focuses on the last 5 years or so, we can surely agree (say it with me) that EVERY SINGLE UK MEP on #bbcqt in recent years has been in favour of Brexit. 3/7
But @CarolineLucas , you say. Yes, she was Green MEP from 1999-2010, MP since then. She was elected leader of Greens in 2008 when there were no Green MPs. Look you say, we had a pro EU MEP who was a party leader before 2010 - more than 2 years before anyone had said 'Brexit'. 4/7
But @GlenysKinnock, you say. She ceased to be an MEP in 2009 - 9 YEARS AGO. She was last on #bbcqt as an MEP in 2002, it seems. 16 YEARS AGO. Again, (louder!) why has EVERY SINGLE UK MEP on #bbcqt in recent years been in favour of Brexit. 5/7
But @MaireadMcGMEP you say, on #bbcqt this year [A week after @RCorbettMEP first tweeted graphic]. She is vice-president of the EU Parliament. She's an Irish MEP, not one of the 73 UK MEPs. So, why has EVERY SINGLE UK MEP on #bbcqt in recent years been in favour of Brexit?6/7
