@BBC edited it out
Are non-UK ppl not allowed to challenge the deal after all?
At least @DawnButlerBrent , @thatginamiller etc heard it
I just want ppl to be informed⬇️
#citizensrights deal for @The3Million and @BritishInEurope is not 'a done deal' because
1. 'Nothing is agreed until everything is agreed' - Theresa May
[2]
[3]
This is not automatic as one has to qualify and pay for it.
This is not in line with what many of my friends voted for
[4]
Who is held accountable for campaign lies that affect millions of people?
[5]
[6]
No voice in #GeneralElection
No voice on #bbcqt
Where can @The3Million have a voice?
[7]
They might not have liked my point, or the programme was too long, but I do have a point.
[8]
Otherwise, no politicians would ever be held accountable for their campaign lies, be the rights of @The3Million, @NHSMillion or whatever it may be
[9]
I have seen many of you ask why did no one criticise @DominicRaab 's point.
I did, but it was not good enough to make it on screen.
Do speak out and keep fighting for your rights.
[end]
We do need the 'human face of migration' in the debate, and we also need migrants speaking for themselves in UK politics&society.
And even if edited because the programme was too long, why take out the ONLY criticism of #citizensrights deal?
Thank you.
Perhaps this - the MSM not giving voice- is the core reason why we have such negative views on migration.
We get the Mail's stories on Romanians but we cannot get a Romanian's voice on #bbcqt
A comprehensive debate on migration means listening to migrants too.
Whatever your political views, you have a right to be informed on the facts about the 'deal' on #citizenrights.
This is not about being left or right, pro- or anti-migration.
It is about holding politicians to account when they mislead the public.
