(2) Suffragettes were often depicted as violent, out to harm men & neglectful of the sons and husbands they should be protecting.

(3) Suffragettes were depicted as agents of chaos who wanted to destroy the country & drive it to anarchy. They were accused of wanting to turn America into a socialist state that would obliterate traditional gender roles.

(4) Their favorite tactic though was to attack suffragettes as unfeminine, unattractive man-hating women who were just angry and vindictive, out to hurt men and inflict harm on society, either out of a conniving scheme of manipulation or sheer idiocy.
(5) If the fear-mongering didn't work, attacking a woman's appearance and belittling her feminity was a favorite tactic for those who wanted to suppress a woman's vote. They simply made her a disgusting caricature to undermine both her humanity and her power.
(6) The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Wear the "leftist mob" moniker with pride. We're the same leftist mob that won women the right to vote nearly a century ago.
