Listening to S2 of Slow Burn, I wonder: is there a US sexual predator more normalized & sanitized than Bill Clinton? By all measures, Juanita Broaddrick credibly accused him of rape. His "sexual relations" defense was that he didn't aim to arouse/gratify ML. How is he tolerated?
I'm obviously not the first person to ask this question. But it just blows my mind every time I'm reminded of it.
I highly recommend @kthalps ' interview with Juanita Broaddrick from earlier this year. Too often her story is co-opted by the far-right when it should be devoid of partisanship:
