BREAKING! While I personally don't believe it despite my years long war with that creep Ben Lesnick, there's a rumor going around that his exit (being kept quiet - but he's GONE!) from Star Citizen is tied to black market ship sales.
Ben is the biggest fan of both Chris Roberts and Wing Commander on the planet. Bar none. That he would be kicked off the project with zero fanfare, has been suspicious since we first learned about it earlier this year when he moved all the way back to the East coast from CA.
This is the same guy who has been primarily responsible for the toxic roots of the project's community since day one. Even back when some very startling things came out, he was never fired.

He was the same one who gave false statements to Chris & Sandi back in 2015 - which they later issues in a statement to PC Gamer - implying that I had somehow breached the ToS, thus triggering a massive war with me, and one which they stood ZERO chances of ever winning.
Unlike Jared Huckaby who continues to skirt the fine lines between flat-out lying and unapologetic shill-infested hyperbole, Ben was their one man lying engine. We have an ENTIRE catalog of it, most of which have appeared in several of my blogs and articles.
Here are some of Ben's greatest hits over the years.

The first time we busted them over the inaccuracy and fraudulent misrepresentation of the funding chart.

Back when SQ42 was totally coming (it didn't. duh!) and Tyler totally played all the missions.

Back sources told me about their plans to complete strip away backer rights in the ToS - one of which was the PROMISED financial disclosure & accounting to backers for THEIR money. This one was good. Read it.

Back when Ben said Chris totally created the Star Citizen demo all by himself. Of course, even though I had blown the alarm on that lie years before, the 2017 Crytek lawsuit pretty much put that one to bed - for good.

We catalog all this stuff so you don't have to. The reason we paid special attention to Ben is because, well, when a multi-million corp takes an inexperienced "fan" & gives him a key exec position, well, the end result is PRECISELY what we expected because people are who they are
True or false, this rumor as to the reasons for his exit from the project, is curious because it happened right around the time CIG stopped issuing refunds (thus killing third-party money laundering in a big way). And at least 3 prominent Reddit Grey market ship sells disappeared
CIG had to have known that Ben was a massive liability right from the start. And with a very disastrous event like the Crytek lawsuit making him an even bigger deposition liability, it's not hard to connect the dots. Not that him being employed by CIG would make a difference.
I don't know if it's true or not, but when you hear something from more than two credible people, it's hard not to wonder. Especially given the fact that, to this day, neither he nor CIG will comment on whether or not he is still working for CIG.
Don't take my word for it though, go ask him yourself over @banditloaf or on his Discord. I 100% GUARANTEE that you will NOT get a straight answer. Heck, his Twitter feed alone, as well as his absence from ALL recent Star Citizen events etc should've been a clue that he's GONE.
If it turns out Ben was in fact selling ships via the Grey market directly (anon) or through middle-men, I would literally die laughing. But one thing is certain, people are digging. More soon.
I don't personally believe that he's dumb enough to engage in illegal activity. But then again he was an integral part (he was there from the start) of a project that has now evolved into a massive scam which is well on its way to unraveling, even as I type this.
Oh before I forget, he's now "working" whale-infused Jump Point subscriber magazine. Pretty much the free "work" he also does for Wing Commander - decades later.

He's definitely reading my Twitter feed because less than 4 posts into my thread, he posted this on his private Discord channel...
