A FBI bomb truck left NYC this morning around 10:30am ET and is currently on the road to the FBI lab at Quantico containing the CNN device, a law enforcement official familiar with the investigation told @joshscampbell
More from Campbell: The suspicious powder from the CNN package was tested and initially deemed not to be anthrax or known agents, the source says. Additional testing will continue over the coming days.
Lastly: source tells Campbell the authorities are not giving credence to the reports of an spoof image of the ISIS flag on the device, meaning they do not believe it’s international terrorism.

Knowledgeable source tells me that White House forced out Pentagon Chief of Staff Rear Admiral Kevin Sweeney (ret.)
Official title was “Chief of Staff to the Secretary of Defense.”
Sweeney was going to leave within a couple months, having worked directly for Mattis, but WH forced him out before he wanted to leave, knowledgeable source says.

I’ve just reviewed what appears to be Jarrod Ramos’ Twitter account. From 2012-2016, the Annapolis shooting suspect tweeted constantly about his hatred of @capgaznews: “...the fake watchdogs remain my sworn blood enemies”
In 2012-16, Ramos described the staff at @capgaznews “delusional vigilantes,” and called for the publication to close.

At the outset of the #Brexit process, most people assumed that a deal on #police and #judicial co-operation was easier to get than one on #trade. Time has shown this is not the case. Ongoing co-op on #JHA is one of the few items yet to be agreed on #withdrawal deal. Why?
Well, because the #EU and #UK's opening positions in the #negotiation are incompatible: Britain wants a #bespoke agreement with the EU, a la #Schengen, but is not willing to accept #ECJ or #EUCharter. EU wants to replicate existing models. What to do?
