Nothing most sane people haven't been all but screaming all through last year. volkskrant.nl/ts-b16f8273 via @volkskrant
All through the year many of us in the Sane Speaker Circuit, together with competent devs and business developers have been saying "blockchain" as presented last year was a stupid proposition.
Hell, I've been giving "beware of ICO" talks all year, and we have been pointing out flaws in so-called "whitepapers" everywhere.

But no, people wanted to do their PoCs, wasting tons of money, not to mention taking it.
We were "maximalists", killjoys, whatever.

Hell, my company Blockchain Workspace had "saving people with less knowledge money by helping them identify stupid projects" as its Mission Statement.
I am glad most companies in the article see the "tests" as a positive, because no one can complain they were misled: the knowledge to the contrary was widely available.

Large companies should have enough experience not to fall for obvious scams.
So onwards and upwards.
Sane projects should keep building, at a cost that is realistic, which is actually low: any "blockchain dev" that has one year experience should not be hired for an exorbitant wage, just like high wages for Vendors of Shit should never be given.
Build realistically, AFTER planning.
